MADISONVILLE — Christopher Dale Lane, Sr., 58, of Madisonville, died at 10:59 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2020 at his home.
A native of Caldwell County, he was born October 10, 1961, the son of the late Andrew Young Lane and Mary Mae Cummins Lane. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and he was a former D.J. for 104.9 The Wave. Known as “Meanstreak” to his family and friends, he was an avid CB’er who also loved fishing and Nascar. He was also a huge fan of Hank Williams, Jr. He was of General Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Dale Lane, Jr.; and his sister, Melinda Sue Lane.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Lane; daughters, Lindy (Heath) Rogers and Kelly Ball both of Madisonville; his sons, Jeremie (Kelly) Lane of Caldwell County and Justin (Morgan) Lane of Webster County; his brothers, David Lane of Lyon County, Anthony (Shelley) Lane of Caldwell County, and Timothy (Jill) Lane of Lyon County; his in laws, Rick and Sharon Carter of Madisonville and Edward Brown of Indiana; his grandson who lived with him, Jayden Rogers and 17 other grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
