David G. Walker, 78, of Kuttawa, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at 2:15 a.m. at his home.

A son of Ethel Estella Clemen Walker of Kuttawa and the late Claude Robert Walker, he and his wife owned and operated a tropical fish hatchery and distribution business in Florida prior to moving to Lyon County. He was a member of the Funtimers Fishing Club and Lakeland Cruisers car club. He was a member of Kuttawa First Baptist Church and was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife Janet Stanton Walker; a son, Dennis Walker of Wiamauma, Fla.; a daughter, Debbra Davis of Plant City, Fla.; three grandsons, Phillip Davis, Devin Davis and Landen Walker; a brother, Bob Walker and wife Elfieda of Bryan, Ohio; and a sister, Janice Ames of Broken Arrow, Okla.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville, with the Rev. Carl Nelson officiating.

Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home.
