Dickie Nichols, 69, of Fredonia, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
A son of the late Clarence and Lois Carter Nichols, he was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Nichols; paternal grandparents, C.R. and Emma Nichols; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Nettie Eskew Carter; two brothers, Jim Nichols and Billy Nichols; and a sister, Janice Nichols.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Becky Nichols of Herndon; two grandsons, Harrison Nichols and Triston Walker, both of Herndon; a sister, Sharon Nichols Kimbrell and husband Tom of Caldwell County; four nephews, Matt Kimbrell of Burleson, Texas, James Kimbrell of Marina, Calif., Jimmy Nichols and wife Nancy of Templeton, Calif., and Jeff Nichols and wife Valerie of Weatherford, Texas; a neice, Nita Joy King of Princeton; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Jeff Boone officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the service time Saturday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
