Ellouise Mitchell, 88, of Princeton, died Tuesday, June 5, 2019, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center.
A daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Hazel P'Pool Merrick, she was a homemaker and member of Blue Spring Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Derwood Mitchell; two sisters, Aline Wood and Mildred Mitchell; and three brothers, Richard Merrick, Archie Merrick and Thomas Merrick.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Cecile Mitchell of Princeton; two grandchildren, Rachel Mitchell and Amanda Irwin and husband Tim; four great-grandchildren, Makayla Rae Irwin, Brady Mitchell Irwin, Connor Wilson Irwin and Daniel Wyatt Mitchell; four sisters, Pearl Dixon of Henderson, Lillian Hale of Hopkinsville, Katherine Keefer of Maidens, Va., and Linda Currin of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three brothers, James Merrick and Don Merrick, both of Graves County, Randall Merrick of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiating.
Burial will follow in Blue Spring Cemetery in Caldwell County.
