Fred Stanley “Stan” Bushkill, 83, of Luling, La., and formerly of Eddyville, died Friday, June 7, 2019, at Touro Hospital in New Orleans, La.
A son of the late Fred and Reva Elizabeth Murphy Bushkill, he was a retired radiation safety officer with a nondestructive testing company and was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton. He was a United States Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandy Bushkill; and a brother, John Bushkill.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Garrett Bushkill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Scott Smith of Kuttawa, and Melissa and Brian Snyder of Eddyville; two grandchildren, Jessica Davis and husband Mike of Paducah, and Jacob Snyder of Eddyville; two great-grandchildren, Blaize Davis and Kael Davis; a sister-in-law, Donna Bushkill of Canal Fulton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton, with the Rev. Troy Jent officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the service time Thursday, June 13, at the funeral home.
