Harold C. Beck, 69, of Benton, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at his residence in Benton. Mr. Beck was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton, a pharmacist and owner of Benton, Draffenville, and Calvert City Pharmacies, and the founder of Marshall County Toys for Kids. He also served on the board at CFSB for over 30 years, served on the board of Marshall County Health Department, and a former Benton City Councilman.
He was the son of Harlan C. Beck of Princeton, and the late Betty (Mitchell) Beck. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Mike Beck.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Alexander) Beck of Benton; two sons, Dr. Ryan Beck and wife Kristen of Paducah, Dr. Austin Beck and wife Morgan of Benton; two brothers, Kevin Beck of Houston, Texas, Todd Beck of Clarksville, Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Paxton Beck, Bailey Beck, Corbin Beck, Cora Beck, and Lilli Smith.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, where the family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021.
Funeral services will be at held at the Collier Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, with Rev. Don Wilson officiating. A graveside service will follow.
