Helen Mae Timmons, 87, of Grand Rivers, died Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.
A daughter of the late Newt and Minnie Mae Green Springs, she was a retired cook on a towboat and was a member of Lake City Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Timmons; two sisters, Mary Ellestine Walker and Joanne Duncan; and three brothers, Willie Leonard and Keith Springs.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Dickie Hardin of Grand Rivers; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Springs of Kuttawa, and Jeffery and Lisa Timmons of Tatumsville; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Phyllis Jarrell and Jewell Coomer, both of Grand River, and Rose Watson of Bells, Tenn.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19, at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville, with Bro. Bill Lee, Bro. Kenny Morrow and Bro. David Vannatter officiating.
Burial followed in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
