Jackie Dedmon, 87, of Benton, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at her home.

Born May 28, 1932, in Smithville, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Buren B. Wilson and Pearl Keith Wilson. She was a business woman who owned the KY Dam Bait Farm and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a Kentucky Colonel and Kentucky Admiral.

She was preceded in death by as on, Jimmy Dedmon; two grandchildren, Bobby Dedmon and Waylon Perry; and four siblings.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Jayne and Lindell Choat of Kuttawa, and Linda Kay Dunn of Gilbertsville; four grandchildren, Adam Embry, Tyler Dedmon, Grant Embry and Katlan Bonds; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Wilson of Rock Island, Tenn.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home in Benton, with Mitch Mathis officiating.

Burial followed in Marshall County Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Benton.
