Jane Cox, 90, of Fredonia, died Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital, following a short illness.

Born February 25, 1931, in Caldwell County, daughter of Ilena Walker Guess. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marion, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include two sons, David Cox with wife Clara of Calvert City and Paul Cox with wife Shannon of Murray; a daughter, Rebecca Sizemore with husband Zachary of Severn, Maryland; eight grandchildren, Bethany Ebelhar (Jason), Brianne Connor (Steven), Austin Cox (Peyton), Chaney Cox, Amelia Sizemore, Ezra Sizemore, Abram Sizemore, Bennett Sizemore; four great-grandchildren, Kenna Ebelhar, Ella Ebelhar, Halle Ebelhar, Finn Connor and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cox; a son, Charles Russell Cox; and a grandson, Tanner Cox.

Visitation will be held from 9 — 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy McGahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery.
