Jean Borum Hardesty, 86, of Kuttawa, died Sunday, June 21, 2020, at her home.
A daughter of the late James Orville Borum and Viola Gertrude Dame Borum, she was a member of Kuttawa United Methodist Church, and was a founding member of American Legion Post 68 Auxiliary. She was a retired information specialist with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Kay Borum; and five brothers, Eddie Gaylen Borum, James Lee Borum, Paul Wayne Borum, Dorris Allen Borum and Carroll Wayne Borum.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, William H. Hardesty; a sister, Nettie (Roy Lee) Luck of Corydon; two brothers, Jerry Martin (Mildred) Borum of LaGrange, Ind., and Cecil Edward (Donna) Borum of Sebree; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville, with the Rev. Chuck Ladd and the Rev. Jim Keagen officiating.
Burial will follow in Onton Cemetery in Onton at 4 p.m.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the funeral home.
