Jolan Wayne Rushing, 11, passed away on Thursay, Oct. 10, 2019, at his home in Cadiz.
Jolan was born on Sept. 1, 2008, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. He loved his momma, his family, was his sister’s biggest fam, had a very, very special friend, Holly Hepner, and thought a lot of Mary James. He loved anything weather and was involved in the youth group at Donaldson Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Lindsay (Cannon) and Dustin Glass of Cadiz; father, Gary Wayne Rushing of Princeton; two sisters, Annabelle Grace Rushing and Lilyah Glass; maternal grandparents, Marty and Gerri Lynn Cannon of Princeton; maternal step-grandmother, Theresa Glass of Princeton; paternal grandparents, Gary and Donna Rushing of Marion; aunts, Leslie Cannon and “Unc” Anthony White of Princeton, Tonya McKinney of Paducah; uncle, Brian and Alessandra Glass of the Bahamas; uncle Rocky Joe and Gretchen Rushing of Pensacola, FL; cousin, Laynee Cannon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jolan was preceded in death by his maternal step-grandfather, David Glass.
Visitation will be held at Morgan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Morgan’s Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 1 p.m. with Chase Mitchell officiating and Coley Rogers assisting.
