Keith Kirby, 82, of Cerulean, son of the late Steve and Mary Edith Hale Kirby, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at the Caldwell County Medical Center.
He was employed with White Fiberglass installing fiberglass for greenhouses. He had served as a police officer for the City of Princeton from 1970 to 1980 and attended Mt. Carmel Church in Cerulean. His hobbies were hunting and parachuting.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Grace East Kirby; daughters, Marianne (David) Glass of Russellville, Eva (Eddie) King of Lyon County, Karen (Ray) Sigler of Princeton and Penny (Tim) Morris of Cerulean; son, Kerry (Michelle) Kirby of Cerulean; grandchildren, Michael Kirby, Amanda Sigler, Steven Kirby, Teri Morris, Laura Morris, Zachary Morris and Evan Sigler; great-grandchildren, Darrien Francis, Dallton Kirby, Dommnic Kirby, Ellie East, Lilly Turley, Axel Ray, Paisley Rae, Wyatt Kirby and Waylon Cain and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Waymon Earl Kirby; and great-grandchild, Jaxon Noah Cummins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Troy Jent officiating. Burial will follow in the Pool Cemetery in Cerulean.
