Lena Mae Beshear, 86, of Dawson Springs, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

Born Feb. 26, 1933, in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Alex Lamb and Gertrude Orange Lamb. She was a cook for Lynn's Restaurant and The Place Restaurant. She was a 191 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and was a member of Faith Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Beshear in 2012; a grandson, Chris Beshear; two brothers, Ray Gordon Lamb and Kenneth Lamb; and a sister, Thelma Moore.

Survivors include a daughter, LaDonna Washburn of Dawson Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Charlotte Beshear of Dawson Springs; two grandchildren, Nathan Stallins and Amy (Shannon) Albro; two great-grandsons, Zander Albro and Jaxon Albro; and a brother, Jimmy Lamb of Princeton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 5, at 1 p.m. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, with the Rev. Jesse Cavness officiating.

Burial followed in Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Shannon Albro, Nathan Stallins, Jimmy Edward Lamb, Eric Lamb, Tim Moore and Jimmy Lamb. Honorary bearer was the Rev. Wayne Lamb.
