Linda Sharron Jenkins, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Life Path Hospice Center in Ruskin, Florida.

Sharron was born on Feb. 7, 1938, in Fredonia, Kentucky, to the late Glenn and Esther Holman Rogers. Sharron married the love of her life at the age of eighteen. She and her husband S.L. Jenkins would then move to Northern Indiana to start their lives together. While in Indiana she was a homemaker. Sharron was also a member of the United Methodist Church. Later in life, Sharron and S.L. moved to Florida. After purchasing their home, Sharron worked as a decorating consultant, helping new home builders pick out colors for paint, tile, cabinets, etc... After her husband’s passing in 2001, Sharron enjoyed spending time sewing, listening to county music, and playing Scrabble, but above all, Sharron loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Sharron is survived by one son, David (Jacqueline) Jenkins of Indiana; one daughter, Sheila (Angelo) Ingorvaia of Florida; one sister Phyliss Kay Rose of Shelbyville, Tennessee; one brother, Roy Rogers of Fredonia; four grandchildren, Ryan Gabrici, Jordon Gabrici, Alexis Jenkins and Nate Jenkins; one great-grandson, Ethan Gabrici.

Sharron is preceded by her parents, Glenn and Esther Holman Rogers; her husband of 45 years, S.L. Jenkins; and brother Glenn Neil Rogers.

Visitation for Sharron Jenkins will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Dwayne Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
