Martha Ann Lewis, 88, of Cathedral City, California, formerly of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at her home.
Martha was born on September 28, 1932, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, to her late parents, William “Orbie” and Margaret “Josephine” McConnell Mitchell. She lived in a number of states throughout her adult life but spent more than 30 years in Princeton where she was a member of First Baptist Church and the Caldwell County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a self-employed interior designer and jewelry designer. As a young woman, she lived in New York City on Park Avenue and modeled hats for various designers of the day. Martha always lit up the room and was the life of the party who loved to travel and experience new places, cultures, and people.
She is survived by one daughter, Claudia Eisenmann of Kuttawa, and one son, Andrew Eisenmann of Desert Hot Springs, California.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ed Lewis; and one son, George Eisenmann.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, June 06, 2021, at Millwood Cemetery.
