Martha Anne Baith, 87, of Lenexa, Kan., and formerly of Cadiz, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.
A daughter of the late Henry Sylvester and Rosa Greer Cavanaugh, she retired from Trigg County Schools, where she taught science classes at Trigg County Middle School for 24 years. She was a member of the Cadiz Lioness Club and was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Leonard Baith Jr.; a grandson, Zachariah Taylor; a brother, Henry S. Cavanaugh Jr.; and a sister, Virginia Thomas.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Jill Baith of Stilwell, Kan.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diana and Joseph Flynn of Princeton, and Deborah Vaughan of Sedalia; eight grandchildren, John Paul (April) Snow II, Terah (John) Barner, Shawn (Rebecca) Snow, Rachael (Mike) Williamson, Alexis (Matt) Darnell, Matthieu Alexander, Nicole Baith and Parker Baith; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sara Heath of Rome, Ga., and Elsie Taylor of Sanford, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, with the Rev. Jamus Redd officiating.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the funeral home.
