Mary Jane Haile Young, 74, of Princeton, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Born April 14, 1945, in Dawson Springs, she was a daughter of the late Amma Jane and Ellis Porter Haile. She graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1963 and was a member of Church of Christ in Princeton. She had been employed in factory work, retail, restaurant server and manager and several positions in the medical field including ER tech, medical office manager and pharmacy tech.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Danny Young; a son, Jeffrey Allen Young.
Survivors include a daughter Terrie Lynn Young Aldridge and son-in-law, Troy Aldridge of Nashville, Tenn.; granddaughter, Abby Rae Hall of Nortonville; sisters, Linda Heath (Mike) of Auburn, Peggy Lemens (Donald) of Joshua, Texas, and Joyce Scherdin of Louisville; nieces and nephews, Michael Ray Hall of Princeton, Tommy Hall, Matt Heath, Kristine Doyle, Brandon Scherdin, Rachel Scherdin, Jack Henry Scherdin, Michael Ramey and Phillip Ramey; great-nephews and great-nieces, Trevor Hall, Daniel Hall, Danielle Hall, Micayla Doyle and Ryker Heath; several cousins; and significant other, Jim Gillum of Mayfield.
A celebration of life servcie will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Burial will follow in Claxton Young Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the funeral home.
