Mildred Louise Bell, 88 of Princeton, passed away Friday, December 5, 2020, at the home of her daughter, Sharon in LaGrange. She was a mom, a grandmother, sister, pastor’s wife, Sunday school teacher, prayer warrior, friend neighbor, and aunt.

Mildred had a strong faith in her Lord and Saviour for which she loved and served. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Princeton and the Poetry Society, loved to write poetry, sing, and to play the piano. Most of all she loved her family and friends. Mildred had a true heart of gold that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Crossett of LaGrange; sisters, Maggie Cummins and Jean Lee of Princeton; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Melvin Bell; parents Jimmy Eugene and Edna Louise Jones Lambert; daughter Shirley Phelps; sons Stanley Bell, Steven Bell; sister Margaret Ethridge and son-in-law Paul Legg.

Private services will be held. Morgan’s Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
