Nicole Lynn

Nicole Lynn of Harmony, Florida, passed away at her home with her husband Robert by her side, Sunday, July 20, 2020. She was born in France on January 28, 1940 to Pierre and Yolande Breton in Janville, France. Nichole and her husband Robert Lynn were Lyon County residents from 1969 to 1971. Robert worked at the prison in Eddyville shorty before he brought Roy Heron’s Gulf Gas Station, which he operated until they moved from the area in June of 1971. Nicole was employed at the War Memorial Hospital in Princeton. They and their children were members of the Eddyville Methodist Church during this time period.

Her husband, Robert was the son of the late William R. and Sara A. Lynn, both of which were born and raised in the Caldwell and Lyon County area. The late Elise Brown, a sister of the late William R. Lynn, was the wife of the late Raymond Brown of Brown’s Furniture Store in Princeton.

The Lynn’s were early pioneers of the Caldwell County area. The late Malinda Lynn was a charter member of Glenn’s Chapel in 1842 and Robert is distantly related to the late Samuel Glenn who donated the land for the chapel. In the early 1900s there was also a one-room schoolhouse which William R. Lynn attended before going to Caldwell County High School in Princeton.

Visitation for Nicole Lynn will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

On Sunday afternoon there will be a private service for the family members at Glenn’s Chapel Church in Eddyville with Rev. Steve McVay officiating with burial to follow in the Glenn’s Chapel Cemetery in Eddyville.Upon Nicole’s burial there will be five generations of the Lynn family buried at Glenn’s Chapel.

She is survived by her loving husband for almost 52 years, Robert. She was a wonderful mother to three sons, Angelo (deceased), Michael, Dominic and a daughter, Nadine. Nicole has 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who she adored. While she thrived in her professional career, her greatest love was spending time with family.
