Patrick “Pat” Blackburn, 63, of Fredonia, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tenn.
A son of the Rebecca Beavers Blackburn and the late Joseph Malcolm Blackburn, he was a welder for Ingersoll Rand air tool company and a registered nurse working for Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, as well as other facilities. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fredonia and attended Good Springs Church in Caldwell County.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Joseph Blackburn.
Survivors in addition to his mother include two sisters, Janet Wright and husband Danny of Marion, and Marilyn Holman of Gainesville, Ga.; two nieces, Tammy Crowell, and Amanda Raether and husband Dan; two nephews, Michael Holman and wife Suzanne, and Bobby Holman and wife Jennifer; a great-niece, Kari Joyce Freeman and husband Adam; and three great-nephews, Jesse Joyce, Alex Holman and Will Holman.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at Fredonia Cemetery in Fredonia, with the Rev. Ronnie Hooks officiating.
There will be no visitation.
