Patty Jean Oliver Schmidt

Patty Jean Oliver Schmidt, 88, of Princeton, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at Princeton Nursing and Rehab.

A daughter of the late John Dudley “J.D.” Oliver and Robbie Brown Oliver, she was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and had been a Meals-onWheels volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy “Smitty” Edward Schmidt; a stepson, Billy Schmidt; a stepgranddaughter, Tanya M. Schmidt; and a sister, Bobbie J. Fitzgerald.

Survivors include a daughter, Sally Hunley of Princeton and Knoxville, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Dr. Mary Case and Max Million of St. Charles, Mo.; a grandson, Dr. Tucker Hunley of Bristol, Tenn.; and a brother, Leroy Oliver and wife Rosezelle of Princeton.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at Rowland Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Ray officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
