Pauline “Polly” Parrent, 91, of Princeton, died Monday, June 17, 2019, at Princeton Health and Rehab.
A daughter of the late Roscoe Virgil and Mamie Louise Francis Hopper, she was a knitter for the Princeton Hosiery Mill and was a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Parrent; three sisters, Virginia Hopper, Mildred Hopper and Margaret Pugh; and four brothers, Hugh Hopper, Charles Hopper, James Hopper and John Hopper.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Allen and Karen Parrent of Caldwell County, and James Gary and Barbara Parrent of Marshall County; four grandchildren, Reagan Parrent, Benjamin Matthew Parrent, Jonathan Mark Parrent and Shirley Dancer; and three great-grandchildren, Alivia Parrent, Briana Parrent and Ashleigh Parrent.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Roger Felker officiating.
Burial followed in White Sulphur Baptist Church Cemetery.
