Phyllis A. Jarrell, 79, of Grand Rivers, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at 8:41 p.m. at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.

A daughter of the late Newt and Minnie Green Springs, she attended Higher Power Fellowship Church in Eddyville and had been self-employed with her husband in their vinyl siding installation business.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Jarrell in 2006; two daughters, Sherry Doom and Vanessa Jones; a son, Terry Jarrell; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Porcia Poss of Benton; three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Jewell Comer of Grand Rivers, and Rose Watson of Bell, Tenn.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers, with the Rev. Bill Lee and the Rev. Kenny Morrow officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.
