Rev. Mary Carolyn Crumbaugh Gray, 72, transitioned from earth to eternity on July 4, 2020 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.
Carolyn was born in Princeton, KY, to Roy Crumbaugh and Myrtle Lee Rice on November 27, 1947. She was educated in the Princeton School System. After graduation from high school, Carolyn enrolled at Western KY Vocational School where she received a degree in Culinary Arts. She later attended Kentucky State University. She worked at the Hosiery Mill and was employed at the Caldwell County Board of Education as a substitute teacher and a daycare worker.
Carolyn was an ordained minister for over 30 years, who believed in praying for others. She was the founder and pastor of the House of Prayer in Princeton.
She is survived by two brothers: Claude Boyd, Robert Head, both of Princeton; two aunts: Alice Faye Kilpatrick, Sallie Lewis both of Indianapolis, IN; caregiver & cousin: Anna Nall; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are 12:00 noon Saturday, July 11, 2020 at First United Methodist Church with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until service. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Leave condolences at www.masonbrothersfs.com.
