Sandy Sivells, 71, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sandy was born in Cadiz, on Apr. 11, 1949, to her late parents, Wiley Amos and Martha Ann Simpson Delawson. She was a housewife and had previously done clerical work for Kennedy Law Firm in Cadiz, then Trigg County Hospital, and later, Dr. Werskie’s office. She also enjoyed sewing from her days as a seamstress at Princeton Hosiery Mill. As a pastor’s wife, she always enjoyed her church life and was part of many churches but most recently was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church. Sandy loved music and played the piano. She was also known for driving her dog, Snoopy, around her neighborhood in their golf cart.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bro. Ronnie Sivells; one son, Chris (Janet) Sivells Princeton; three sisters, Paula (Harold) Massey of Caldwell County; Shirley Hargrove of Clermont, Florida, Susan Delawson of Princeton; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Dr. Todd Gray officiating and Bro. Bobby Sellers and Bro. Donnie Wilkins assisting. Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
