Steven James Pierce, 2, of Eddyville, died Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was a flash flood victim at Cummins Falls State Park in Jackson County, Tenn.
He was a son of Curtis James Pierce and Hannah Mae Stamps Pierce of Eddyville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Willie Stamps Sr. and Jim Oliver; and paternal great-grandmother, Sarah York.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Martha Sarahfaye Pierce of Eddyville; grandfather, Michael Stamps and wife Julie of Eddyville; maternal grandmother, Deanna French and husband Greg of Hickory; paternal grandfather, Weldon Pierce of Calvert City; paternal grandmother, Rose Rudolph and husband Linn of Eddyville; maternal great-grandmothers, Barbara Oliver of Eddyville, and Charma Lewis of Paducah; maternal great-grandfather, Fred Lewis of Paducah; paternal great-grandparents, James and Velda Pierce of Calvert City; paternal stepgreat-grandmother, Linda Rudolph; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville, with Bro. Robin Redd and Bro. Carl Nelson officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvert City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the funeral home.
