Velda “Rose” McIntosh Capps, 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Princeton, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Harrison Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born the daughter of the late Felix “Lud” McIntosh, and the late Mable Underwood McIntosh. She was retired from Arvin Industries in Princeton after 25 years of service. Those who knew her knew that she sincerely loved her family, but her single greatest devotion in life was to her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Princeton.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Crossroads Cemetery with Bobby McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, from 4—7 p.m. at Goodman Funeral Home. Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita Bryan (William) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and LaDonna Rahn (Jim) of Greenville, North Carolina; her sister, Nellie McIntosh Vowell (Lamar) of Lakeland, Georgia; her five grandchildren, David Capps (Felicia) of Princeton, Kentucky, Jessica Darnell (Jr.) of St. Charles, Kentucky, Austin Rahn (Jessica) of Dover, Delaware, Addison Rahn (Shannon) of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Christopher Capps of Cincinnati, Ohio; her seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one (51) years, Clarence “Bill” Capps, Sr.; her son, Clarence Earl Capps, Jr.; and 10 of her brothers and sisters.
