Eleven members of the Caldwell County volleyball team were named to the All-District 7 Team for their athletic ability, the All-District 7 Academic Team for their academic ability or both.

Named to the All-District 7 Team were senior middle blocker Abby Griggs, senior outside hitter Olivia Mitchell, senior setter Kendyll Prowell and senior libero Riley Thomas.

Prowell ranks second in the state with 10.93 assists per set, helping Caldwell County rank 15th as a team with 11.0 assists per set.

Mitchell ranks fifth in the state with 5.36 kills per set, while Griggs ranks 27th in that category with 3.93 kills per set. Caldwell County ranks 10th in the state as a team with 11.6 kills per set. Ten of the 12 Caldwell County varsity players were named to the All-Academic Team for having grade-point averages of 3.5 or better.

Lady Tigers named to the All-Academic Team for District 7 were Griggs, Mitchell, Prowell, sophomore outside hitter Lilly Hoard, sophomore right-side hitter Katie Menser, junior right-side hitter Savannah Scott, junior defensive specialist Adison Sullenger, junior outside hitter Mary Tays, junior middle blocker Kynady Thomas and sophomore setter Kyndra Winters.
