The Lady Tigers suffered their first ever loss to the Hopkins Central Lady Storm in a 2-0 match last Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers have come out on top every year since creating a girls soccer team in the late 1990s.

Lady Storm’s Elisa Adams crossed a hard pass from Allie Childers near the right side of the goal over to inside the left goal post just out of Rachel McClung’s reach to score first. Less than 10 minutes minutes later, Priya Holmes broke away from Caldwell defenders to put one in the net making it a 2-0 game for the Lady Storm.

Caldwell spent much of the rest of the night in the Lady Storm goal, outshooting the Lady Storm 22-18. McClung had eight saves for the night, while Lady Storm goalie Peyton Kire also collected eight.
