The Caldwell County Lady Tigers struggled to get an offense going on April 21. The Lady Tigers fell behind early and struggled to make up ground in the 11-4 loss. Madisonville North Hopkins added four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull away for good.

After Madisonville North Hopkins added a pair of runs in the first and second innings, the Maroons’ lead increased to 4-1. Harper Holeman’s three-run homer tied things up at 4-4 as it bounced off the scoreboard in the top of the fourth inning, in the middle of a two out rally.

Holeman was 2-for-4 and led the Caldwell County offense with the three RBIs, while Adley Lewis and Brylee Butts were 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Pitcher Jackie Farmer took the loss for Caldwell County. She lasted six innings and allowed 11 runs over 17 hits, while walking zero.
