The Caldwell County wrestling team beat Apollo 57-18 Saturday at the North Hardin Invitational in Radcliff. The win brings the Tigers’ dual meet record to 2-2.

Freshman Cole Sherrill (9-3) beat Apollo’s Ethan Berry by fall in the 220-pound class, while junior Colin Wells (9-3) beat Copper Jones by fall in the 195-pound class and junior Dylan Walls (14-0) beat Tavis Walker by fall in the 182-pound class.

Dylan Walls also beat Jonah Hinton by fall in the 160-pound class, while freshman Jackson Riley (7-7) beat Mason Shephard by fall in the 145-pound class, while junior Ethan Newsom (4-9) beat Rachel Campbell by fall in the 138-pound class and junior Riley Johnson (10-3) beat David Garkin by fall in the 132-pound class.

Sophomore Cofy Walls (9-1) beat Kaleb Gibson by fall in the 126-pound class, while freshman Timothy Nichols (11-2) beat Alex Bowlds by fall in the 120-pound class and sophomore Collin Teutsch (12-1) beat Landen Cox by fall in the 113-pound class.

Apollo’s Blaize Cart beat freshman Preston Rogers (2-4) by fall in the 285-pound class, while AHS’s Jake Ramsey beat eighth-grader Logan Brown (11-3) by fall in the 106-pound class. Apollo’s Dana Bishop won by forfeit in the 152-pound class.
